Public Art Plans

Cochran Studio has created public art plans for a wide range of places and circumstances, including several cities in Maryland and two in New York—Great Neck Plaza and Rochester’s Neighborhood of the Arts.

It is always a privilege to work with communities as they reimagine their futures through the thoughtful design of public space. Our work is grounded in collaboration, careful listening, and respect for local knowledge. To support this, we have developed efficient, inclusive methods of public participation that allow as many people as possible to have a meaningful voice—shaping how public space will serve them, the kinds of public art they want to see, and the level of investment they wish to make in shared civic life.
