| Engraved Poets Walk bands radiate from the welcome plaza circle band. |
| Poets Walk is anchored at the east end by Centennial Sculpture Park's welcome plaza, which includes a circle band of stone from which all granite band in the walk originate. A half-acre interactive installation in limestone and bronze titled Creation Myth by American Artist Tom Otterness is scattered throughout the welcome plaza. |
